When HP launched Season 1 of its all of us quietly questioned whether or not we had reached the zenith of scripted leisure.
“They’ve got no idea I used my phone to hack the OS on that printer over there,” Christian “The Wolf” Slater snarled from the places of work of the fictional Pierce Arthur Monroe Financial. “And why would they? Not one printer in this place has built-in malware protection.”
My goodness — you are proper, Christian! They did not! But your steering taught us the error of our methods.
Now, Christian Slater is again for Season 2 of “The Wolf,” and this time he is… on a boat. And messing with individuals’s e-health information. And stealing flowers? Anyway, it premiered at Cannes.
We have a lot of questions. Who retains letting him into these places of work? Why is he so hell-bent on bringing down the world by way of networked printers? And can anyone really see him, or is he just a few form of concern amalgam dreamt up by the parents at HP to maintain info safety officers awake at night time?
I will not lie. I really like speaking about cybersecurity, and I feel I really like these movies. That, or they’re the weirdest cross promotional tech content material since the cast of Friends spruiked Windows 95.
Either method, this can both be the best printer PSA or the worst episode of Mr. Robot you’ve got ever seen. Enjoy!
