New Godzilla: King Of The Monsters Trailer Delivers Spectacle And Scares


Monsters followers can have a lot to have fun this summer time when the largest film monster of all of them returns to screens. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is the follow-up to 2014’s blockbuster Godzilla, and sees the legendary radioactive reptile joined by a number of different basic creatures from Godzilla mythology. A brand new teaser has now been launched.

While this teaser is so much shorter than the most recent trailer, it accommodates loads of new footage. In a latest interview with Japanese website Tamashii, Dougherty spoke about approaching the brand new film after the success of the primary, which was directed by Rogue One’s Gareth Edwards. “I think I had to be mindful of the reaction to the previous film,” he stated. “So it was a matter of trying to look at the previous film, and look at what worked, which I thought was the tone, the scale, the design. I felt like we already had the advantage of getting to bring in antagonists and allies for Godzilla, which were beloved legacy characters, so that was a huge, huge help.”

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is the newest entry in Legendary Pictures’ so-called MonsterVerse, following Godzilla and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island. The fourth film within the collection will probably be Godzilla vs Kong, which is now in production and scheduled for a May 2020 launch.
