28M Records Exposed in Biometric Security Data Breach

Researchers related to vpnMentor found a knowledge breach involving practically 28 million information in a BioStar 2 biometric safety database belonging to Suprema. “BioStar 2’s database was left open, unprotected and unencrypted,” vpnMentor stated. “After we reached out to them, they were able to close the leak.” BioStar 2 is Suprema’s Web-based, open, built-in safety platform. The vpnMentor workforce gained entry to consumer admin panels, dashboards, back-end controls and permissions, which in the end uncovered 23 GB of information.
