Apple, Tesla, IBM: Only One Has Gotten the 'Unique' Model Right

I’m struck by the extent to which Apple and Tesla are executing a mannequin similar to IBM’s. While IBM has developed to place the buyer at the middle all the time, Apple and Tesla are nuanced in that respect, very similar to IBM was in the previous. I labored at IBM when it imploded in the early 1990s, so I can converse to what’s in Apple and Tesla’s future except they study the simple manner what IBM realized the arduous manner: that the buyer is all the time king, and mining a locked-in buyer base to extend revenues and cut back prices will just about all the time finish badly.
